The Promise Hero is a rock band from Cleveland, Ohio, formed in 2006 by longtime friends Bobby Vaughn and Daniel Weiss following the breakup of The Honor Role. The band released its self-titled debut EP in 2006 and later signed with TDR Records. Their debut full-length album, Wait for the Sun, was released in 2008, and was followed by Okay, Cool (2010). The band toured extensively, including appearances connected to the Vans Warped Tour. After several members departed, Vaughn continued the project as a solo artist under the name The Promise Hero, releasing Déjà Vu in 2013.
