Dying Humanity, a German melodic death metal band from Annaberg-Buchholz, formed in 2006. They released the first MCD, The Origin of Dying Humanity (2006), and performed early concerts with bands such as Born from Pain and Necrophagist. Their debut album, Fallen Paradise (2007), was recorded at the Rape-of-Harmonies-Studio and released through Restrain Records. The second album, Fragments of an Incomplete Puzzle (2009), was released on Maintain Records. Their third album, Living on the Razor’s Edge (2011), a concept album exploring themes such as drugs, violence, and abuse, was released to the public. They underwent significant lineup changes in 2014, leading to the release of the album Deadened (2015). They played their last concert at the Alte Brauerei in Annaberg-Buchholz in 2018 and subsequently disbanded.
