Flying Circus

Flying Circus, a German progressive rock group formed in Grevenbroich in 1990 by vocalist/drummer Michael Dorp, guitarist Michael Rick, and bassist Roger Weitz, debuted with Seasons (1998). The band gained attention with Out of the Waste Land (2000) and Pomp (2004). In 2009, the band issued Forth. After adding drummer Ande Roderigo (2011) and violinist Rüdiger Blömer (2012), they released the concept EP Ones and Zeros (2013) and the album Starlight Clearing - A Story (2016) with a live CD/DVD 25 Live (2016). This was followed by the 2020 concept album 1968. A 2022 re‑release of Seasons and a limited live album celebrated 25 years. The group toured extensively, notably going on a “double-decker tour” with Chandelier in 2023/24.
