Mono No Aware aka James Clark is a Lincolnshire-based UK producer specialising in dark heavy tech house and emotive deep house.
He began making his own music on the piano at age 12, as he grew he found a love for synths and EDM music inspired by the likes of Franz Ferdinand and Hot Chip. The spark created lasting passion for electronic production. Over the past 15 years, he has honed his own EDM sound, delivering powerful, club-focused rhythms alongside deeper, more melodic and emotional layers.
His dark tech house brings intense basslines and relentless drive—built for late-night floors that demand movement. His emotive deep house adds atmospheric grooves, heartfelt melodies, and a real sense of depth that connects on repeat listens.
