Truth Corroded is an Australian extreme thrash metal band formed in 1996 in Adelaide. The original lineup consisted of bassist Damon Shaw, drummer Adam Milburn, guitarist Mark Lennard, and vocalist Simon Durrant, though Durrant was replaced by Jason North shortly after formation. The ensemble began performing live alongside acts such as Fear Factory and Strapping Young Lad and appeared at the Big Day Out festival in January 2000. After performing at Metal for the Brain, the group released its debut studio album, Begin, in 2001. Truth Corroded followed this with Our Enemy Is the Weapon in 2005 and Upon the Warlords Crawl in 2008. The band achieved wider international recognition with the 2011 album Worship the Bled, which featured studio drummer Kevin Talley and was mixed by Jonas Kjellgren. The ensemble collaborated with Talley again for the 2013 release The Saviours Slain, which was mixed by Mark Lewis and issued through AFM Records. Original drummer Milburn died in 2003.
