Anthony da Costa, born on January 3, 1991 in the Bronx, New York, is an American singer‑songwriter. After issuing the Already There EP in 2005, he released Rearrange (2006) and Quality Time (2007), followed by Typical American Tragedy (2008) and Not Afraid of Nothing (2009). In 2012, he issued Secret Handshake, and in 2016 he self‑produced da costa, featuring Aaron Lee Tasjan, Devon Sproule and members of Ben Kweller, Eric Johnson and Okkervil River. Subsequent releases included Feet on the Dashboard (2020) and What Plans? (2021). He toured with artists such as Aoife O'Donovan, Jimmy LaFave, Sarah Jarosz and Molly Tuttle, and in 2007 he won the Kerrville Folk Festival New Folk Award.
