Jamie Smith's Mabon was a Welsh folk band formed in 1998. Initially known as Mabon, they began by playing traditional Welsh folk tunes before evolving into a more contemporary sound. Their debut album, Lumps of Mabon (2001), was followed by Ridiculous Thinkers (2004) and OK Pewter (2007). They rebranded as Jamie Smith's Mabon in 2011 and released albums including Windblown (2012) and The Space Between (2015). They won the 'Best Group' award at the 2014 Spiral Earth Awards and the 2015 Eiserner Eversteiner Award. They toured extensively, performing over 1,000 gigs across four continents by 2018 and appearing at notable festivals such as Festival Interceltique de Lorient and WOMAD UK. They disbanded in 2020 after a farewell tour that was cut short due to the coronavirus pandemic.
