Sons of Korah, an Australian Christian band, was founded in 1994 in Geelong, Australia by Matthew Jacoby, Jason Coghill, and Rod Gear. The group is known for setting Psalms to music using them as lyrics almost verbatim. In 1996, they recorded their first album Hand to the Plough. Their second album, Light of Life, was issued via Mustard Records in May 1999. The band's lineup evolved over the years with members contributing to various albums including Redemption Songs (2000), Shelter (2002), Resurrection (2005), Rain ( 2008), Wait (2011), Refuge (2014), and Fractures (2017). Sons of Korah regularly toured Australia, the United Kingdom, The Netherlands, and the United States. In May 2008, four of their albums were listed in the top 10 sold for a week by American retail chain Family Christian Stores. In 2023, the released the album Man of Sorrows.
