Forget Cassettes, an American alternative rock band from Nashville, Tennessee, was formed in 2001 by Beth Cameron. Their debut album Instruments of Action was released in 2003 under Theory 8 Records. Following the departure of percussionist Doni Schroader to join ...And You Will Know Us by the Trail of Dead, Cameron temporarily disbanded the group. In 2005, she recruited Aaron Ford and Jay Leo Phillips to work on their second album Salt, released in 2006. The band toured extensively throughout the United States and Europe. Schroader returned sporadically after Salt's release. In 2013, Forget Cassettes released their third album, O Cursa.
