Me vs Hero was a British rock band from Blackpool, Lancashire, formed in 2007. The band's lineup included Sam Thompson, Michael Booth, Oliver Bradley, and Alex McCulloch. Their name came from an Alex McCulloch misinterpretation of lyrics by the band Walls of Jericho. The band released two EPs in 2009: Me Vs Hero EP and This One’s for Our Friend. Their debut album, Days That Shape Our Lives, was released on October 18, 2010. In early 2011, Oliver Bradley left the band and was replaced by Stephen Jones on drums. In early 2012, Jones departed and Simon Smith joined as the new drummer. Me vs Hero released their second album, I'm Completely Fine, in 2014. On February 18, 2015, Me vs Hero announced they were splitting up.
