Mourning Beloveth is an Irish death-doom band formed in the winter of 1992. The original lineup consisted of vocalist Darren Moore, guitarist Frank Brennan, bassist Brian Delaney, and drummer Tim Johnson. The group recorded an untitled demo in 1996, after which Adrian Butler joined on bass and Delaney switched to guitar. In 1998, they released their second demo, Autumnal Fires. The band's debut studio album, Dust (2001), received positive reviews and led to performances with Cradle of Filth. Subsequent albums include The Sullen Sulcus (2002), A Murderous Circus (2005), and A Disease for the Ages (2008), the latter of which featured bassist Brendan Roche. In 2003, they released a split single with Lunar Gate, contributing the track "Part 1". They toured across both Europe and North America in 2004. Later albums include Formless (2013) and Rust & Bone (2016).
