Brutal Juice, an acid punk band from Denton, Texas, was formed in 1990 by Gordon Gibson and Ben Burt. The group initially included Ted Wood on guitar and Sam McCall on bass, with Craig Welch joining later as co-vocalist. Their debut release, the demo tape How Tasty Was My Little Timmy?, came out in 1991. In 1994, they released their first live album, I Love The Way They Scream When They Die. In 1995, Brutal Juice signed to Interscope Records and released their debut studio album, Mutilation Makes Identification Difficult. They disbanded in February 1997. The band reunited periodically from 1999 to 2012 and officially reformed in 2012, releasing their album, Welcome to the Panopticon, in October 2016.
