Nino Katamadze, born on August 21, 1972 in Kobuleti, Adjara, Georgian SSR, Soviet Union, is a Georgian jazz singer and artist. She began her musical journey by entering the vocal department of the Batumi Music Institute ZP Paliashvili in 1990. After completing her studies, Katamadze participated in various musical projects and groups. Her breakthrough came with her first international tour in 2002 across Europe. In 2006, she released her album White, which achieved significant success, selling over 700,000 copies and being distributed in multiple countries, including Georgia, Russia, Finland, Sweden, Ukraine, France, Germany, Italy, and the UK. Katamadze continued to release albums such as Black (2006), Blue (2008), and Green (2011). In January 2010, she performed in an improvised opera titled Bobble with a wordless libretto written by Bobby McFerrin.
