The Rosamunde Quartett was a German string quartet formed in 1992 in Munich. The ensemble comprised violinists Andreas Reiner and Diane Pascal, violist Helmut Nicolai, and cellist Anja Lechner. Named after Franz Schubert's Streichquartett Nr. 13 „Rosamunde“, the quartet performed a repertoire spanning from Henry Purcell and Joseph Haydn to contemporary works by Thomas Larcher, Tigran Mansuryan, and Dino Saluzzi. The group's ECM recording leggiero, pesante, featuring works by Valentin Silvestrov, received a Grammy nomination in 2003. Other releases include Werke von Webern, Schostakowitsch & Burian and Joseph Haydn's Seven Words – Die sieben letzten Worte unseres Erlösers am Kreuze. The ensemble disbanded in 2009.
