Wolfgang Trepper was born on May 9, 1961, in Rheinhausen, now part of Duisburg, Germany. He began his career as a sports manager for OSC Rheinhausen in the 1990s, leading the team to Bundesliga promotion in the 1992/93 season. Trepper transitioned into media in 1997, co-hosting Streichzart on Radio Duisburg and serving as chief editor until 2007. He started his cabaret career in 2003 after a successful debut at Hamburg's Schmidt-Theater. Since then, he has released numerous programs and performed up to 280 live shows annually across Germany. Trepper is also known for his television appearances on various shows such as Nuhr im Ersten and Beckmann Sportschule. His collaboration with Mary Roos on the show Nutten, Koks und frische Erdbeeren ran from 2015 to 2019 and earned them several awards, including the smago! Award for Tournee-Produktion des Jahres in 2016.
