Skaldowie is a Polish rock band formed in Kraków in 1965 by brothers Andrzej and Jacek Zieliński. The group made its official debut at the II Krakowska Giełda Piosenki that year, winning first place with “Moja czarownica.” Their self-titled debut album, Skaldowie, was released in 1967, followed by Wszystko mi mówi, że mnie ktoś pokochał (1968) and Cała jesteś w skowronkach (1969). During the early 1970s, the band increasingly incorporated progressive rock, classical music, and Polish highland folk influences, releasing Od wschodu do zachodu słońca (1970), Ty (1970), Wszystkim zakochanym (1972), and Krywań, Krywań (1972). Their later albums included Szanujmy wspomnienia (1976), Stworzenia świata część druga (1976), and Rezerwat miłości (1979). After a period of inactivity during the 1980s, Skaldowie resumed performing and recording, releasing albums including Nie domykajmy drzwi (1989), Podróż magiczna (1996), Moje Betlejem (1997), and Harmonia świata (2006). The band continued performing following the death of co-founder Jacek Zieliński in 2024. In 2025, Skaldowie released Nocni jeźdźcy, a collection of archival recordings from 1976–1979 issued by Kameleon Records.
