Texas Local News, a German metalcore‑pop group from Frankfurt am Main, formed in 2011. Their debut EP, We Are Pandora, was released in 2012. Between 2013 and 2016, the group issued three music videos for the singles "Time and Reason", "Karma", and "Disclosure" and performed over 150 shows across Germany and abroad. In spring 2016, Texas Local News signed with Redfield Digital and released their full‑length album Momentum, produced at Karma Recording Studios by Daniel Haniß and Simon Yildirim. Subsequent lineup changes reduced the group to a quintet, which was noted for its multi‑vocal arrangements.
