The Demon Barbers

The Demon Barbers is an English folk band formed in the United Kingdom. Their lineup included singer Damien Barber, drummer Ben Griffith, and past members such as vocalist-fiddler Bryony Griffith, melodeon player Will Hampson, and bassist Angus Milne. Their debut album, Uncut, was released in 2002, fusing traditional folk instruments with electric bass and drums. Their subsequent releases include the albums Waxed (2005), the mini-album +24db (2008), The Adventures of Captain Ward (2010), and Disco at the Tavern (2015). The band won the Best Live Act prize at the BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards in 2009 and received another nomination for the same award in 2011.
