Destroy Destroy Destroy, an American melodic death metal band from Murfreesboro, Tennessee, formed in February 2003 and initially consisted of Bryan Kemp on vocals, Jeremiah Scott on guitar, Andrew Hall on drums, Way Barrier on guitar, Adam Phillips on bass, and Alex Gellette on keyboards. The band's music was characterized by orchestral arrangements, intense blast beats, and themes inspired by Viking mythology and epic battles. Destroy Destroy Destroy has also been compared to groups like Iron Maiden, Queensrÿche, Manowar, Judas Priest, and Dream Theater. Destroy Destroy Destroy began performing locally and released an EP titled Kill or Be Killed (2003). In 2006, they signed with Black Market Activities and released their debut album, Devour the Power, which showcased a blend of thrash metal, glam metal, death metal, and viking metal elements. Their second album, Battle Sluts, followed in 2009.
