The Victims, an Australian punk band from Perth, Western Australia, active from 1977 to 1979. The founding members included James Baker on drums, Dave Flick (Dave Faulkner) on guitar and vocals, and Rudolph V (Dave Cardwell) on bass guitar. Their debut single, "Television Addict", was released in 1978, followed by the extended play The Victims (also known as No Thanks to the Human Turd) in August of that year. The band disbanded in mid-1978, but reunited briefly for a farewell gig in early 1979. In 1989, their material was compiled into the album All Loud on the Western Front. The Victims' music has been recognized through various releases and covers, including Hoodoo Gurus' live performance of "Television Addict" in 2005.
