Carpathian was an Australian hardcore punk band formed in Melbourne in 2003. The band's early releases included Carpathian/ Never Alone Split CD (2003) and their self-titled EP released in 2005. They gained traction with the debut album Nothing To Lose in 2006, followed by extensive touring. In 2008, they achieved chart success with the album Isolation, reaching number 19 on the ARIA Charts. The band's lineup changed frequently, but Kirby remained a consistent presence as the primary songwriter. Carpathian performed at festivals like Taste of Chaos and Soundwave, sharing stages with notable acts such as Parkway Drive and Alexisonfire. Their final show took place in April 2011 at The Arthouse in Melbourne.
