Fjoergyn, a German metal band from Jena, Thüringen, was founded in 2003 by Die-Saat singer Stephan L. The group released their debut album Ernte im Herbst in 2005 through Black Attakk Records. This concept album explored themes of nature's revenge against humanity and marked the band's initial foray into the metal scene. In March 2014, Ivo R. joined Fjoergyn as a permanent member, taking over the guttural vocals. The band's subsequent albums included Sade et Masoch (2007), Jahreszeiten (2009), and Monument Ende (2013). Each release showcased the band's evolving sound, incorporating elements of death, folk, black, pagan metal, and classical music. Fjoergyn's discography also includes Terra Satanica (2016), Lucifer Es (2017) and Judasmesse (2023).
