Zeus! is an Italian alternative rock and post-hardcore band formed in 2010 in Imola by Luca Cavina on distorted bass and vocals and Paolo Mongardi on drums. The two had previously worked together in Transgender and collaborated on Il Beat Vol. I, before forming Zeus! to explore their heavier noise and hardcore influences. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2010 through a collaboration of independent labels. It combined noise rock and math rock with elements of metalcore and technical experimentation, featuring guest contributions from musicians including Enrico Gabrielli, Valerio Canè, Andrea Mosconi, and Giulio Favero. The duo followed with Opera (2013) and Motomonotono (2015).
