Bilocate, a Jordanian progressive metal band from Amman, was formed in 2003. The group's initial breakthrough came with their debut album Dysphoria, released in 2005 and prominently featured on the local radio station Jordan FM. Their second album, Sudden Death Syndrome (2008), received critical acclaim from publications like Decibel and Blabbermouth.net, and was nominated for a Best Doom Metal Album Award by Metal Storm, finishing sixth. The band faced significant challenges due to the controversy surrounding heavy metal in Jordan, including being banned from performing in Lebanon in 2009. Despite these obstacles, Bilocate signed with Code666 Records in 2012 and released their third album Summoning the Bygones.
