Car-Man, a Russian electronic music and electro pop group, was formed in Moscow in 1989 by Sergey Lemokh and Bogdan Titomir. Their debut album Vokrug sveta (Around the World), released in 1990, marked their breakthrough with its exotic sound and style, gaining significant popularity within the Soviet pop scene. In 1991, Car-Man released their second album, Carmania, before Titomir left to pursue a solo project under the name Vysokaya Energya. Lemokh continued with Car-Man, releasing several more albums including "Russian Massive Sound Aggression" (1994), "Your Sexy Thing" (1996), and "King of Disco" (1998). The group became one of the most influential acts in early to mid-1990s Russia, amassing a dedicated fanbase and winning several awards.
