Ladonnis Decurtis Crump, known professionally as Donnis, is an American rapper born in Montclair, California. He moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and began his music career at age nine, inspired by artists like Kris Kross and the Dungeon Family. After serving in the Air Force, Donnis released his debut mixtape, Diary of an ATL Brave, in 2009. This led to a single deal with Fool's Gold Records for "Gone" and inclusion on XXL Magazine's 2010 Freshmen list. In 2010, he signed with Atlantic Records. Donnis released two mixtapes in 2010: The Invitation and Fashionably Late, the latter featuring collaborations with John Legend and Estelle. His major label debut EP, Fashionably Late EP, was released on Atlantic Records.
