The Destructors are an English punk rock band from Peterborough, active initially from 1977 to 1979 and again from 1980 to 1984. Formed by former 6ck 6ck 6ck members Allen Adams, Phil Atterson, and Paul Wicks, the band underwent numerous lineup changes. They released the Senseless Violence EP in 1982. A series of EPs and two albums followed, culminating in Bomb Hanoi, Bomb Saigon, Bomb Disneyland (1984). The band became known for energetic live performances and abrasive punk sound. They reformed as Destructors 666 in 2006, reverting to The Destructors in 2009. Founding member Adams died in 2019, while the band continued recording punk, garage, and skuzz music.
