Intro5pect, an American electropunk band from Southern California, formed in 1997 as a reaction to the commercialization of punk music. Their first demo was released in 1998, and their initial official release came in 1999 with "Education" on Geykido Comet Records. In 2002, Intro5pect signed to A-F Records, releasing their self-titled debut album in 2003 which received a rating of five out of five from Punknews.org. The band toured extensively, including notable performances in the United Kingdom and Europe. Their second album, Realpolitik!, was released in 2007, featuring Stza from Leftöver Crack on vocals. In 2009, after creative differences led to a change in lineup, they released the EP Record Profits. Intro5pect performed again in February 2019 at the Observatory in Santa Ana with new singer Dani, marking their first show since 2011.
