Enrike Solinís Azpiazu, also known as Enrike Solinís, was born in 1974 in Bilbao, Spain, and is a classical guitarist, lute, and theorbo player, specializing in early music. He studied guitar and early music at the Conservatorio Superior de Música Juan Crisóstomo de Arriaga in his hometown and later at the Escola Superior de Música de Catalunya in Barcelona. Early in his career, he won several international music competitions, including those in Comillas, Ataúlfo Argenta, and Andrés Segovia. He has collaborated with prominent ensembles such as Hesperion XXI, Le Concert des Nations, and La Capella Reial de Catalunya, directed by Jordi Savall. He also performed at notable venues like Carnegie Hall in New York, the Konzerthaus in Berlin, and the Théâtre des Champs-Élysées in Paris. In 2006, he founded his own ensemble, Euskal Barrokensemble. His discography includes Colores del Sur (2013), Euskel Antiqua (2015), El amor brujo (2017), and Elkano, el viaje alrededor del mundo (2019).
