A Storm of Light, an American heavy metal band formed in 2008 by Domenic Seita and Josh Graham. The trio, along with Vinnie Signorelli on drums, released their debut album And We Wept the Black Ocean Within through Neurot Recordings. The album garnered international acclaim and led to performances at major festivals like Brutal Assault in Czech Republic and Pukkelpop in Belgium. In 2009, A Storm of Light released Forgive Us Our Trespasses, featuring guest musicians Jarboe and Lydia Lunch. This album was critically praised and earned the band a spot on the Roadburn Festival tour. The band continued to evolve with releases like As the Valley of Death Becomes Us, Our Silver Memories Fade (2011) and Nations to Flames (2013), both of which showcased their post-metal sound influenced by bands such as Neurosis and Red Sparowes.
