Ian Siegal, born in 1971 near Portsmouth, England, is a British blues singer and guitarist. After leaving art college in the late 1980s, he began busking in Germany. In 2005, Ian Siegal released his album Meat & Potatoes on the Nugene label, which featured contributions from Matt Schofield and was produced by Schofield. The album received a four-star rating in the Penguin Book of Blues Recordings. He won Best Band at the inaugural British Blues Awards in 2010. Ian Siegal's 2011 release The Skinny, produced by Cody Dickinson and featuring American musicians, was nominated for a Blues Music Award for Best Contemporary Blues Album. In 2014, he released Man and Guitar recorded live at the London Bluesfest.
