Chapel of Disease, a death metal band from Cologne, was formed in 2008 by Laurent Teubl on vocals and guitar, Cedric Teubl on bass, and David Dankert on drums. Shortly after their formation, Christian Krieger joined as the bassist, allowing Cedric to switch to electric guitar. In 2012, they released their debut demo Death Evoked, followed by the release of their first album Summoning Black Gods later that year. Their second album, The Mysterious Ways of Repetitive Art, was released in 2015. In 2018, they released ...And as We Have Seen the Storm, We Have Embraced the Eye.
