Olena Kushpler is a Ukrainian-German pianist born in 1975 in Lviv. She began her musical education at the Lviv Conservatory under Josef Jermin. She continued her studies at the Hamburg University of Music and Theatre with Volker Banfield and Evgeni Koroliov, further honing her skills through collaborations with Wolfram Rieger and Norman Shetler. Her career included performances in prestigious venues such as the Konzerthaus Berlin, Tonhalle Düsseldorf, Hamburger Elbphilharmonie, and Musikverein Wien. Additionally, she performed at notable festivals like the Rheingau Music Festival and Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival. Kushpler has released several albums including Pièces Rares Pour Piano (2012) and Piano Works (2012). Her notable collaborators include Peter Schreier, Martin Grubinger, Zoryana Kushpler. She has been recognized with multiple awards including the Masefield Prize from the Alfred Töpfer Foundation and the Ritter Prize.
