My Superhero was an American ska punk band formed in 1994 in Anaheim, California. They released their debut album, SKAteboard Music, in 1995 on their independent label Sick Little Monkey Music. Their 1997 album Solid State 14 received positive reviews and, after being re-released by Risk Records in 1998, helped the band gain national radio exposure. In 1999, they released Station One, produced by Thom Wilson. They toured extensively with bands including Reel Big Fish, The Aquabats, The Hippos, Fenix TX, and Frenzal Rhomb, and appeared on the 1999 and 2000 Warped Tour. After exploring a power-pop direction, the band released the Send Gas EP before disbanding in the early 2000s. The original lineup reunited for shows in 2011.
