Eddie Parker, born on May 28, 1959, is an English jazz flutist and composer. He was a founding member and composer for the jazz band Loose Tubes in the 1980s. In 1988 he released Live Tracks with Freebop, followed by Transformations of the Lamp (1994) and Everything You Do to Me (1996). Parker’s collaborative work include recordings with Bheki Mseleku on Celebration (1992) and a partnership with Keziah Jones on Blufunk Is a Fact! (1992). He lectured in jazz at Middlesex University, where he taught the members of Led Bib.
