Cultus Ferox, a Berlin-based music group, was formed in late 2002. Known for blending medieval music with rock elements, their early releases included Weihnachtstänze aus dem Dudelmannsack (2002) and Wiederkehr (2003), showcasing acoustic roots. In 2006, they released Unbeugsam, marking a shift towards rock with electric instruments and vocals. The band's live performances featured pirate-themed imagery. Cultus Ferox announced its disbandment on March 21, 2022, but reunited in 2024.
