Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers were an American Americana and alt-country band formed in San Francisco in 2008. Led by singer and guitarist Nicki Bluhm, the group featured guitarist Deren Ney, bassist Steve Adams, and other rotating members, including Bluhm’s then-husband Tim Bluhm. Their albums included Nicki Bluhm and the Gramblers (2013) and Loved Wild Lost (2015). The band gained widespread attention in 2012 through their viral “Van Sessions” cover videos, particularly their rendition of Hall & Oates’ “I Can’t Go for That (No Can Do).” They appeared on Conan and CBS This Morning before taking an indefinite hiatus in 2017.
