Adair was an American rock band from St. Louis, Missouri, formed in 2001. The group initially performed under the moniker Disturbing the Peace before changing their name to Adair. Their breakthrough came with the release of their premiere EP The Permanent Bruise (2003), which they independently sold over 7,000 copies after touring with bands such as Hawthorne Heights and Glasseater. In 2006, Adair signed with Warcon Enterprises and released their debut full-length album, The Destruction of Everything is the Beginning of Something New (2006). The band toured extensively that year, including performances on the Taste of Chaos tour and the Warped Tour. However, in early 2007, Adair disbanded as members pursued individual musical interests. In 2015, the band reunited for two "final" shows in St. Louis and San Bernardino.
