Kolpa is a Turkish rock ensemble from Adana established in 2005. The group consists of the musicians Bora Yeter, Barış Yurtcu, Cenk Taner Dönmez, and Samuray Gökçe. They achieved professional recognition for a musical style characterized by rock. The ensemble was founded in Istanbul by Yeter and Yurtcu after they attended high school in Adana. Their recording career began with the debut studio recording Hayat Senin (2009) produced by the musician Matthew Erdem. Kolpa achieved professional recognition for the extended play Maximum (2010) which featured the song “Böyle Ayrılık Olmaz” reaching Number 1 on several national charts. Their discography included the single “Son Nefesim” (2011) which reached Number 1 on the national rock chart for five weeks. The ensemble achieved professional recognition for the studio recording Yatağın Soğuk Tarafı (2011) and the studio recording Aşk ve Hayat Hakkında (2014). The recording Aşk ve Hayat Hakkında featured the song “Gurur Benim Neyime?” which received over 110 million views on YouTube. Kolpa achieved professional recognition for receiving the Best Band award at the Golden Butterfly Awards in 2012. Their musical career included the song “Hiç Bitmez Bu Masal” (2012) serving as the theme for the television series Pis Yedili.
