Blutjungs, a pop band from Aschaffenburg, Germany, formed in 1996 as a side project for Carlos Mogutseu and initially featured Martin Grossmann on vocals, Jan Kindlein on drums, and Ansgar Hugo on guitar. The band was known known for their eclectic sound, blending elements of pop, punk, country, new wave, gothic, and metal. Their live performances were also characterized by provocative stage antics and controversial lyrics, often delivered with a satirical edge. Blutjungs released Kinderteller in 1997, followed by Beiss mich, Baby! in 2001. Ansgar Hugo left the band in 2000 and was replaced by Jochen U., who later made way for Tito on guitar. Subsequent releases include Alarm für Riegel 7!!! (2005), Godzilla auf Speed (2009), and Saufpferdchen (2017). The band has performed extensively across Germany, with notable venues including the AKK in Karlsruhe and the Jukuz in Aschaffenburg.
