0816 is a German rap trio from Herdorf that was formed in 2004 by Amazing M, Youngstarr, and Dobb W. The members began rapping during school and initially circulated tracks online, which led to the 2006 mixtape MurdaMixTape. In 2008, they released the street album Das hat euch perade noch gefehlt, followed by the debut studio album Mit Mic & Seele in 2010 under Flavmatic Records with distribution by Rough Trade. The album featured beats from Fawzi Yamouni, Shao Beats, Airhan, Chriss Slick and Matze of Robot Rockerz and guest appearances by B.E. and Phong Bak. The group has performed opening slots for Olli Banjo, Franky Kubrick, Ercandize and Manuellsen, and contributed to various sampler releases throughout their career.
