Justin Mauriello, born in 1975, is an American musician known for his roles as a vocalist and guitarist. He co-founded the punk rock band Zebrahead in 1996, serving as guitarist and vocalist until leaving after their 2004 Japanese Tour. Mauriello also founded the alternative rock band Darling Thieves (initially I Hate Kate) in 2004. The band released Embrace the Curse in 2007 and Race to Red in 2010, with notable singles "It's Always Better" and "Bed of Black Roses". Darling Thieves went on hiatus in 2012. Mauriello then pursued a solo career, releasing the covers album Justin Sings the Hits in 2010 and the EP How’s Life in California? in 2015.
