The Tuna Helpers, an all-female American indie gothic psychedelic art folk rock band based in Austin, Texas, was formed in 2000. The group consisted of Adrienne Sneed on lead vocals and guitars, Bethany Sneed on keyboards, bells, and background vocals, Stacy Meshbane on violin, and Khattie Quinones on drums. Their debut album, Starring in... The Suspicious Fish, was released in 2002 by Monkeyboy Records. The band toured extensively across the U.S. and Canada, sharing stages with notable acts such as Nina Hagen and The Dresden Dolls. Their second album, I'll Have What She's Having, was released on March 15, 2005, featuring collaborations with Trey Spruance. The band performed at SXSW showcases four years in a row but disbanded in 2007.
