Wojciech Sosnowski, known professionally as Sokół, was born on 11 March 1977 in Warsaw, Poland. He began his recording career in the late 1990s as a member of ZIP Skład, appearing on the group’s album Chleb powszedni (1999), before achieving wider recognition with WWO and albums including Masz i pomyśl (2000) and We własnej osobie (2002). He later collaborated with Pono on Teraz pieniądz w cenie (2007) and Ty przecież wiesz co (2008), and with Marysia Starosta on Czysta brudna prawda (2011) and Czarna Biała Magia (2013). In 2015, he joined Hades and Sampler Orchestra for Różewicz – Interpretacje. Sokół released his first fully solo studio album, Wojtek Sokół, on 15 February 2019, followed by NIC on 19 November 2021. In 2026, he formed the collaborative project SKOK with Kukon, Amen and Magiera. The group released its debut album, SKAM, on 26 June 2026, featuring tracks such as “TIMETRAVEL,” “ALBERTO TOMBA,” and “SKOK ÜBER ALLES."
