Schwarz Stein, a Japanese visual kei band, was formed in 2002 by vocalist Kaya and keyboardist Hora. Initially known as Rudolf Steiner, they released two demo cassettes, Perfect Garden (2001) and Queen of Decadence (2001), before signing with Mana's label Midi:Nette in 2002 and renaming themselves Schwarz Stein. Their debut single "Perfect Garden" was released that year, followed by their first album New Vogue Children in 2003. In 2004, they released their second album Artificial Hallucination, but disbanded shortly after a final concert on March 29. Schwarz Stein reunited in 2011 for a limited release of the mini-album Recurrence of Hallucination and a live performance. The band officially returned in 2014, releasing singles like "Sleeping Madness" (2014) and "Fleeting Beauty" (2017).
