Dominick Farinacci is an American jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader born in 1983 in Cleveland, Ohio. He began playing the trumpet at age eleven and performed with his own ensemble in local clubs during his youth. In 2001, Farinacci relocated to New York City as a member of the inaugural jazz studies class at the Juilliard School. He released his debut studio album, Manhattan Dreams, in 2003 through the label M&I Records. His recording history also featured the studio albums Besame Mucho (2004), Lovers, Tales & Dances (2009) and Dawn of Goodbye (2011). In 2016, he issued the recording Short Stories after signing with Mack Avenue Records. Farinacci has collaborated with various musicians during his career, including Wynton Marsalis and Joe Lovano.
