Die Another Day has built a reputation for their seamless blend of metalcore, deathcore, and post-hardcore music, with a sharply dynamic sound and hooks that hit as hard as the breakdowns. They launched their journey with the debut single “Broken Youth” in 2019, followed by their first EP, “Wildfire,” in 2020, laying the groundwork for their evolution as a band.
Embracing genre-blending, they created a unique sound that crosses stylistic borders, exemplified by their rendition of 6ix9ine’s “GOOBA.” In 2022, they released the pop-punk anthem “Can’t Wait For Summer,” highlighting their versatility, and their second EP, “Fiction,” showcased significant growth in both songwriting and confidence.
In 2024, they released “Transcend,” which quickly became a fan favourite and their most-streamed song, winning ‘Metal Recording of the Year’ at the 2025 YYCMAs. The subsequent release, “Sickness With A Smile,” further propelled their momentum.
Continuing their success, “Sempiternal Inferno” was nominated for ‘Metal Recording of the Year’ at the upcoming 2026 YYCMAs. Die Another Day has also made waves on the Western Canadian festival circuit, performing at events like Armstrong Metalfest and Loud As Hell alongside notable acts such as Rivers of Nihil and Fallujah. With their next single, “Cycle of Suffering,” on the horizon, they are poised to cement their legacy further.
