Jack Michael Antonoff, born March 31, 1984, in Bergenfield, New Jersey, is an American singer, songwriter, guitarist, and record producer. He began his career in 2000 as the lead vocalist of the punk rock band Outline, releasing their self-titled extended play Outline in 2000 and studio album A Boy Can Dream in 2001. After forming the indie rock band Steel Train, he joined the pop rock band Fun, co-writing the 2011 single “We Are Young”, which reached Number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 and earned the group Grammy Awards for Best New Artist and Song of the Year in 2013. Antonoff launched his solo project Bleachers in 2014, releasing the studio albums Strange Desire in 2014, Gone Now in 2017, Take the Sadness Out of Saturday Night in 2021, and Bleachers in 2024. As a producer and songwriter, his work with Taylor Swift includes the Album of the Year Grammy-winning studio albums 1989 (2014), Folklore (2020), and Midnights (2022), alongside the Billboard Hot 100 Number 1 singles “Look What You Made Me Do” in 2017 and “Anti-Hero” in 2022. Antonoff also co-produced Lorde's studio album Melodrama in 2017, Lana Del Rey's studio album Norman Fucking Rockwell! in 2019, and Kendrick Lamar's studio album GNX in 2024, winning three consecutive Grammy Awards for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical from 2022 to 2024.
