The Wanton Bishops, a Lebanese rock and blues rock band formed in 2011, was founded by Nader Mansour and Eddy Ghossein. Both members were born and raised in Lebanon, with Mansour born in 1983 and Ghossein in 1984. They began their musical journey playing in local bands while pursuing studies in economics and finance. The duo officially formed after meeting at a blues bar in Beirut, leading to the creation of their first EP, Bad Rhyme, in 2012. Their debut album, Sleep With the Lights On, was released in 2012, featuring the hit single "Sleep with the Lights On". The band gained international recognition through tours in Europe and North Africa, performing at festivals such as Le Chien à Plumes and Décibulles in 2016. Their second album, Nowhere Everywhere, was released in November 2016. In 2023, The Wanton Bishops released their album, Under the Sun.
