Ablaze My Sorrow, a melodic death metal band from Falkenberg, Sweden, formed in 1993 with original members Martin Quist on vocals and guitar, Magnus Carlsson on guitar, Anders Brorsson on bass, and Fredrik Wenzel on drums. The group recorded their debut demo before releasing If Emotions Still Burn in 1996 through No Fashion Records. Following lineup changes, they released The Plague in 1998 and Anger, Hate and Fury in 2002. The band went on hiatus after the release of The Plague, returning with a new vocalist Kristian Lönnsjö for their third album. In 2000, they performed at the Swedish Decibel festival. Ablaze My Sorrow disbanded in August 2006 but reunited in January 2013. Since reuniting, they have released several albums including Black (2016), Among Ashes and Monoliths (2021) and The Loss of all Hope (2023).
